Then, out of no where, Daniel attacked:
Tried to eat her tail (you can see the white nub of it in his hand):
Then decided to join the snuggle action (yes, I let my son use my dog's rear-end as a pillow):
In other news, Daniel is mildly allergic to Parent's Choice Cheddar and Corn Puffs. He's had them quite a few times but I only just noticed the mild hives he gets afterwords:
As of today, my baby is 9 months old! It's been, to be honest, an AWFUL week, as my milk supply is diminishing and not enough to keep his belly filled. He's woken up every night at midnight, 3 and 5, completely hungry and inconsolable. If he would just take a freakin bottle, it wouldn't be as big of a problem. Fortunately, last night, he cut us a break and slept til 5:30 am. The world is seeming much shinier today.

ah hives. reggie can't have pineapple. thankfully benadryl makes him sleepy and not crazy and works on reducing those hives.
sorry to hear about the night wakings. we've had early mornings this week due to molars coming in, but reg has kept sleeping through the night. i'd take an early morning any day over getting up in the night.
will daniel take a sippy cup?
i love the puppy rump pillow! that's the cutest! sad that he is getting hives, poor kid. claire has just dumped a bunch of puffs all over the floor, so i should go, but i just love that daniel!
Have you tried putting something like apple juice in a bottle? Just to get him liking the whole bottle idea.
We've tried every type of bottle (still left over from the last time we tried to get him to take a bottle in July), and now we've tried sippy cups too. He thinks sippy cups are great toys but doesn't understand you're supposed to get something out of them. Bottles (with water, juice, breastmilk or formula) just sit in his mouth... he won't close his lips around them.
OK, Daniel and Charlie are puppy loving twins. Seriously, each photo of him and Lucy was like looking at Charlie and Lulu. Are you sure our kids aren't somehow related?
My brain farted and I just realized Daniel might be going through a growth spurt. Don't they go through one around 9 months? I've been dreading what might happen 2 weeks from now for us. :P
Oh yeah, and dog butts make the best pillows. I use one myself ;)
