Rest in Peace

I just found out President Hinckley, beloved prophet of the Mormon Church, passed away. He was 97. He was surrounded by family, and greeted on the other side by his wife. I feel like I just lost a best friend. He was such a warm, loving man, and millions mourn his passing.

For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day...
2nd Timothy 4, verses 6 through 8

I was so sad to hear of his passing last night. As a convert, he is the only prophet I have ever known. I remember hearing him speak at General Conference (on TV) for the first time, and I knew without a doubt that he was a true prophet. It is sad to lose such an amazing prophet, but I am so happy he can be with his wife again.
