Well, to start with, I'm still pregnant, which is a very good thing. I'm terrified of miscarrying. No real reason for me to fear it particularly, aside from this has all seemed just too easy. So far, still no real nausea, just an overall aversion to food and feeling of queasiness. I have gagged a couple times while trying to eat, but so long as I'm not vomiting I'm happy.
So here's the other big news: Kenny has applied to do student teaching in the Aldine school district in Houston Texas. This means that rather than moving next august, we will move in late December/early January. He'll still graduate in April, but will already have a good standing with a district in Houston- a district that happens to pay about 45k/year for a starting HS math teacher. That's insane for a new teacher! However, the district has a very high minority rate (something like 90%) and is kind of rough.
So we're looking at houses and will hopefully move into a house of our own within 4 months or so! Our very own house! We'll be away from the screaming girls upstairs, the falling apart apartment, the Utah winter...
We've prayed about but we're too biased to get a real answer. It's a bit late to change our minds now, but we're so excited.
